🗂️ Projects

Explore the projects available in MentoPanda, including public and private projects.

When a user first joins MentoPanda, the onboarding process will guide them through creating their first project. This project will be set as the default project for the user. After the onboarding, users can create additional projects as needed.

Project Selection

You will see your current project in the pop-up menu when you click on your avatar icon at the bottom lefts corner of the screen. See below for an example of the pop-up menu, where the project name "Bar Project" is shown:

If you click on that or if you click on the "Settings" section in the side panel, you will navigate to the project settings page. Here, you can see the current project name and a button to create a new project.

When you click the "Select" button next to the project name, a pop-up will appear showing all your projects. You can select one of the projects to switch to it. If you want to create a new project, you can click the "Create New" button at the bottom of the pop-up.

Creating a New Project

When you click the "Create New" button, a dialog will appear where you can enter the name of your new project. After entering the name, click the "Create" button to create the project or cancel the dialog by clicking the "Cancel" button.

Project Roles

Each project has a set of roles that determine what actions users can perform within the project. The roles are as follows:

When you create a new project, you are by default the admin of that project. You can invite other users to your project and assign them different roles (e.g. manager, member) as needed.
